We've just given MountainbikeMalta.com a bit of a facelift.
Yes, believe it or not, ths website is dedicated to mountainbiking in Malta, a 15x25km Island in the heart of the Mediterranean, completely devoid of anything remotely resembling a mountain. Pathetic you may say, OK granted.
But wait a minute...
Mountainbiking is not just about mountains. It's about waking up at 6am every Sunday morning rain or shine and putting on some Lycra. It's about enjoying the humming sound of fat knobly tyres on asphalt. It's about doing your first little 30cm drop off and feeling like an 'awsome dude'. It's about relishing the grinding feeling of mud and dirt trapped in your skin folds. And most of all, it's about hanging out with a great bunch of guys (and the occasional gal) who refuse to grow up.
I enjoyed creating the new site, those pics brought back great memories, and I hope you will enjoy using it. Make sure you create an account so that you'll be able to access all areas of the site, including posting of your own photos and news articles, creating events and advertising stuff for sale.
