Ok gang... first of all I would like to thank all involved here for the great work they are doing to keep this little community together... well done guys. I was just thinking that we don't seem to have a logo? What do you guys think about us having a logo we could put on t-shirts or cycling clothes? I think it would be good... and have the "no mountains... no problem..." motto on them too. What do you guys think?

hmmmm yeah... look I came across a site in the UK called vista print. They do cheap t-shirts and stuff so might be worth looking into. Regarding the cash well I for one would be happy to be a part of a formal MTB club with a small yearly membership where we could have dinners together etc. Dunno about the other members. It seems that we have a good community here so wouldn't hurt to make it formal. And I'm sure that we could afford like 10 euros a year which would to to paying for a t-shirt. Just a thought.

if shirts were to be made, there are sites that print on motocross shirts, which are the kind most of us wear when riding which will be more expensive yes but will not make us sweat like crazy.. there are plenty of these sites the kind that print the number and name on MX shirts or else road cycling wear.. i dont think a cheap t-shirt would be a good idea

Hi again buddy,

The t-shirts won't be for riding :) they will be casual wear :) now you gotta remember if you are looking for premium MTB wear you are looking for E50 min for a pants / shorts and about E75 for a Jersey... I wouldn't print on anything like that :)

i thought you had an idea for like riding gear to look all the same when riding... just becuase i dont think i would wear a t-shirt at all

Well this is something that needs to be discussed between us. I'm sure that we could sort something out... I just got off the phone with CRC and my new bike shipped today from their warehouse. Now gotta get it over here cause no planes are working... just my luck

:) Well this brings us to the next question... who will do it. I'm in IT but my photoshop skills kinda suck. So anybody want to be the gunea pig on this one?

i can use photoshop, i was already thinking of some design but i think its better if theres some feedback from some pppl of the group as what regards to font stlye , how complicated the design should be etc..

i spent a couple of minutes today during class trying to make a logo.. as its at school i didnt have the fonts i wanted etc.. but its just an idea/ starting point ill be uploading it soon ill post the url on here if there isnt a way of uploading images to the site?

Hi Eman,

Nice... Ok i'm not going to knock this i'm just giving my oppinion. I don't like the Malta font or the positioning of the word. The rotor and the word Mountainbike looks nice... you might want to drop shadow around both of those instead of using the external feather. All that said it looks cool well done.

Ok Eman we seem to be the only ones commenting... just work on your logo and then present it to the owners of the site so they will submit it for member feedback.
